Peanut Butter Banana Oat Bars.

I originally found this recipe on pinterest  but decided to switch it up a bit and make it my own. This bar made a great breakfast this morning with tea, you could also have it as a snack or make it dessert for after dinner with ice cream YUM! Here is what you will need.

  • 1 and half cups Organic quick cook oats.
  • 1/4 cup Light agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Half teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Half cup of Organic almond milk or regular milk works
  • 1 large Organic egg
  • Half cup Organic Creamy peanut butter
  • 2 Organic mashed bananas


Mix together the oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add in the vanilla extract, egg and almond milk. Next add the peanut butter and mashed banana and combine everything together. Do not over mix or it will become a messy not so pleasant mixture. Then add the ingredients into a 8x8 baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 350. So simple! I added extra peanut butter banana slices and agave nectar to mine! :) ENJOY
